COSENTYX® targets more than just joint pain. It treats multiple symptoms of psoriatic arthritis (PsA):
- Joint pain and swelling
- Psoriasis skin plaques
- Enthesitis pain (where tendons and ligaments attach to bones)
- Dactylitis (swollen fingers or toes)
It also helps stop further joint damage†
†Based on data from X-rays of the hands and feet at 6 months
COSENTYX helps you take on your daily activities so you can move forward
At 16 weeks, people in clinical trials completed a questionnaire that asked how difficult it was to complete daily activities. On average at 16 weeks, people taking COSENTYX showed overall improvement in their ability to perform daily activities. The questions covered categories such as:
Getting in and out of bed
Getting dressed on their own
Using hands to eat
Taking care of personal hygiene
Find real relief and move forward with fewer symptoms of PsA
Up to 60% of patients in a clinical trial saw at least a 20% improvement in PsA symptoms at 16 weeks.‡
‡Approximately 60% of patients taking COSENTYX saw this level of improvement versus 18% of patients taking placebo.
Some patients felt relief as early as 3 weeks‡
For patients who continued on COSENTYX for 4 years, a similar percentage saw an improvement in PsA symptoms.§
§In this study, patients and doctors were told which medication was being used after 6 months. When patients and doctors know the study drug being used, it may affect the results.
